North recently completed work on a $1.67 million
contract for resurfacing 4.5 miles of A1A in Ormond
Beach, just north of Daytona Beach in Volusia County,
FL.
A total of 9,823 metric tons (10,825 standard tons)
of asphalt were laid on the project. More than half of
the asphalt was Superpave. Work started in April 2000
and finished in early September.
