Ranger
Construction Wins Quality Award (4th
Quarter 2007)
It takes more than quality
aggregates and binder to make great asphalt pavement. It also
takes the right equipment, consistent manufacturing, skilled
crews and strict quality control.
Put them all together and the result is an award-winning
project, such as Ranger Central’s recent milling and resurfacing
job on SR-710 (Beeline Highway) in Palm Beach County, Fla.
Ranger crews resurfaced more than four miles of four-lane
highway, stretching from PGA Boulevard to Commerce Park, earning
a Quality In Construction Award from the National Asphalt
Pavement Association for their exemplary work.
The $4.4 million FDOT project included a top layer of friction
course, along with some minor drainage and guardrail
improvements.
