The Florida Turnpike accommodates a high volume of traffic each day, as do the service plazas located within the limited-access toll road.
So it’s not unusual that Ranger has approximately 10 months to reconstruct the parking lot at the Palm Beach County plaza. The job must be done in phases to allow the constant flow of plaza traffic.
Ranger recently completed a similar job at the Ft. Drum service plaza in Okeechobee County. The new project is scheduled to start in mid-August.
In other new work, Ranger has been awarded the contract to widen, mill and resurface a portion of Forest Hill Blvd. in western Palm Beach County. The job is expected to start in August and be completed in April 2002.
Ranger is also performing lake modifications at The Grande at Palm Beach Gardens under a four-month contract. The work involves turning a large lake into seven smaller ones.
