Ranger Adds to I-595 Road Construction Work with Second Subcontract

Rebuilding and Asphalt Paving on Adjacent Turnpike Lanes  Doubles Project Workload to $78 Million

Ranger Construction, a Florida road construction and asphalt pavement company, has earned a second subcontract on a major I-595 Express project in Ft. Lauderdale. The added work demonstrates Ranger’s ability to handle the design-build job’s road building and black top requirements.

In addition to highway construction to relocate existing lanes and add new lanes on 2.5 miles of a 10.5-mile stretch undergoing expansion on I-595, Ranger will mill, resurface with fresh blacktop, and reconfigure 1.5 miles of Florida’s Turnpike where it adjoins I-595. Together, Ranger’s subcontracts on the massive road building project total about $78 million.

I-595 is a busy corridor linking I-75 with the Turnpike, Ft. Lauderdale International Airport, I-95 and Port Everglades in South Florida.

Complementing its road construction and asphalt paving services, Ranger performs excavation, grading and underground utilities work, as well as medium-to-large parking lot maintenance and asphalt pavement repair projects.
