Ranger Central’s recycling-plus-overlay project on SR-700 is not the only job it has underway in western Palm Beach County, (see article above).

Just a few miles away is a more conventional project, milling and resurfacing a section of SR-15 in the city of Belle Glade under an FDOT contract worth $2.4 million.

The project consists of upgrading two miles of roadway, replacing bridge decks, and making improvements to curb ramps, sidewalks, signage and guardrails. It began in July and is scheduled for completion in November.

Other current work includes milling and resurfacing 12.5 miles of I-95 in St. Lucie County, from the Martin County line to SR-70 in Ft. Pierce, under a $7 million contract, also with the state.

Farther to the north in Brevard County, the division recently completed another lengthy FDOT mill-and-resurface project, improving 14 miles of SR-A1A under a $5.4 million agreement.
