For the second straight year, and the seventh out of the past 10 years, Ranger Construction’s South Division has been awarded the annual repaving contract for Palm Beach County, FL.
The contract runs from October 5, 2000 to October 5, 2001 and is for $3.73 million.
Unlike most paving contracts, which cover a specific street or subdevelopment, the Palm Beach County contract is based on overall tonnage.
Ranger worked from a tentative project list during bid preparation. The actual streets and production schedules will be determined during the course of the year.
“We have worked well with Palm Beach County on their annual resurfacing contract in the past, so we had a good idea of how to properly bid the work,” explained Ranger South Vice President Miguel Correa.
